DESCRIPTION:This year’s Foundation Denim & Diamonds Gala will be on February 2\, 2019 at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center located at 2322 Mac Davis Lane in Lubbock. There will be a live auction\, silent auction\, bid board\, meal\, live band and fun at the casino tables. \nIt is a great evening raising money for our teacher grant program. DESCRIPTION:The Frenship community is invited to the Kinetico Tailgate Party from 4:00 to 7:00 pm prior to the Homecoming football game on October 12 in the east parking lot of Frenship High School. \nThe Frenship Foundation for Leadership and the Frenship Alumni and Friends will host the Kinetico Tailgate which will include: \n\nTexas Tech Masked Rider\nInflatables & Games\n4ORE! Golf\nKona Ice\nJordan’s Fruit\nMi Kocina\nJ&D BBQ\nCantina Tacos\nKinetico Water\n\nEntrance to the event is free and attendees can expect games\, music\, great food and celebration of being a part of the Frenship family. SUMMARY:Frenship Foundation for Leadership now accepting scholarship applications
DESCRIPTION:The Frenship Foundation for Leadership has granted over $644\,600 since 2003 to Frenship High School Seniors. The purpose of the Foundation’s scholarship is to recognize consistent effort\, to promote leadership\, and to develop character in students of Frenship schools\, while stimulating a desire to serve others and further their education. The 2018 application is now available and deadline for students to submit their application is March 2\, 2018. Selection of Scholarship Recipients is made by selected Frenship Foundation Board of Directors and is based on the following criteria: Character\, Leadership\, Service/Activity\, Scholarship/Effort. \nEach May\, the Foundation hosts its “Drive for Leaders Golf Tournament” to raise money to fund these student scholarships. This year’s Drive for Leaders Golf Tournament will be held on Friday\, May 4th.
